But one thing to note is that if you plan to visit Vinpearl, a sincere advice is to buy a Vinpearl voucher. Let me explain a bit. Usually, a Vinpearl amusement park ticket costs 880k VND per person. It only includes amusement park and cable car. But if you buy a voucher, it’s 1.8 million VND for 2 people. So, it’s only 900k VND per person. Slightly more expensive than the regular ticket by 20k VND. But you get to stay at a 5-star Vinpearl hotel in the city for one night. If you book early, you might get to stay at a 5-star resort on Hon Tre Island near the amusement park. Additionally, you get free breakfast, free sauna, and no need to queue for the cable car.

IN SHORT, IF YOUR TRAVEL SCHEDULE IS IN MARCH, THEN AROUND JANUARY IS A GOOD TIME TO BOOK. DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO BUY BECAUSE VOUCHERS MAY RUN OUT.

ONCE YOU’VE SORTED OUT YOUR ACCOMMODATION, YOU SHOULD THINK ABOUT HOW TO GET AROUND IN NHA TRANG ?.

TRANSPORTATION IN NHA TRANG

FROM CAM RANH AIRPORT TO THE CITY IS ABOUT 35KM. IF YOU’RE FLYING, IT’S BEST TO BOOK A CONTRACT CAR. PRICES ARE AROUND 200K FOR 4 SEATS AND 250K FOR 7 SEATS. A DRIVER WILL BE READY TO PICK YOU UP. IT’S CHEAPER BY ALMOST HALF COMPARED TO A TAXI, AND THE CAR WILL BE NEW. FOR SIGHTSEEING AROUND THE CITY, YOU CAN RENT A MOTORBIKE FOR AROUND 120K FOR 24 HOURS. SOMEONE WILL DELIVER THE BIKE TO YOU. FOR COUPLES OR FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AROUND 3-4 YEARS OLD, AND FOR FAMILIES WITH SMALL CHILDREN OR ELDERLY, IT’S BEST TO USE GRAB OR TAXI. NOTE THAT GRAB IN NHA TRANG IS NOT AS CHEAP AS IN HANOI OR HO CHI MINH CITY. IT’S SIMILAR TO TAXI PRICES, BUT GRAB PROVIDES A PEACE OF MIND WITH FIXED PRICES AND DIRECT ROUTES.

Tour to Binh Ba Island.

(Quite beautiful but in a wild way. This island is a military area so there won’t be foreign visitors. If you like tranquility, then visit this island. Especially, this is the island of lobsters. The water source here is good for breeding lobsters. So, if you want to experience it, just go there.)

Swallow Island Tour.

This tour is open from March to September. It’s about to open. Those who want to have fun after Tet holiday should not miss this island. A paradise for taking photos. (The characteristic of this island is that it’s quite far and sunny. So, those who get seasick should bring seasickness medicine.)

Monkey Island – Orchid Stream Tour

This tour is gentle and suitable for families with young children. Monkey Island has monkeys and many other animal species. Birds and so on. There are also scenic spots for you to take Instagram-worthy photos. There is also a beach for swimming and playing.

finally, what to eat in Nha Trang?

What to eat in Nha Trang?

WHEN YOU COME TO NHA TRANG, YOU’RE IN SEA LAND. AND WHEN YOU’RE BY THE SEA, YOU MUST EAT SEAFOOD. There are many restaurants selling seafood, from high-end to budget-friendly. But choosing a place that is delicious, cheap, and of good quality can be quite a challenge. However, based on general surveys, here are some places where you should eat seafood.

Seafood restaurants in Nha Trang

A PLACE THAT MANY LOCALS AND TOURISTS, ALONG WITH ARTISTS WHO CHECK IN AND REVIEW, enjoy is the seafood restaurant at the port located at 307 Nguyen Van Linh. Right by the foot of Binh Tan Bridge. The characteristic of this place is that it’s not in the city center. But the seafood here is abundant, with unique and giant seafood like king crab or Canadian lobster. Because it’s not in the city center, the prices are naturally cheaper. You can ride a motorbike there or call the restaurant for pick-up service, which costs around 50k per trip regardless of the number of people. Considering the current strict alcohol concentration penalties, it’s better to call for a ride to avoid unfair fines. You can search on Google for the seafood restaurant at the port for specific address and contact information.

There are also places like Ngoc Anh Seafood, located somewhere in Cau Han, I forgot the exact number, but it’s by the Thap Ba embankment. You can see Muong Thanh Luxury Khanh Hoa from there. This place offers delicious dishes like fried rice, shrimp in tamarind sauce, and grilled shrimp with salt and chili, at reasonable prices. However, the variety of seafood is not as extensive as at the port.

Next, there’s Thanh Suong Seafood Restaurant. It’s been around for a while and has received many reviews. But since I haven’t tried it myself, I can’t give an opinion.

PLEASE NOTE. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BELIEVE TAXI DRIVERS WHEN THEY RECOMMEND GOOD PLACES. THERE HAVE BEEN MANY CASES OF LOSING MONEY AND BRINGING ANGER HOME. IT’S BEST TO ASK TOUR GUIDES OR RECEPTIONISTS. FOR EXAMPLE, ASK ME.

 about full meals

For breakfast, I found a very delicious beef noodle soup place called Kim Ngan at the intersection of Ngo Gia Tu and Hong Bang. Super delicious. A bowl costs around 35k-40k, I can’t remember exactly. But it’s delicious. Or there’s a beef noodle soup place called Huong Giang on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street. There’s also a fish noodle soup place on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, I can’t remember the number, just remember it’s across from the Au Lac Thinh wedding restaurant.

  grilled dishes

For grilled dishes, there’s a grilled fish place called Co Uyen at the beginning of Hon Chong Street facing the sea. In my opinion, it’s really good. OHE grilling place is on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street (the specialty of this place is that it’s delicious and the portions are generous. So consider carefully when ordering so you don’t waste food) it’s around 120k for a dish.

There’s also Lac Canh grilled beef at 44 Nguyen Binh Khiem. In my taste, it’s okay. But not suitable for those who don’t like sweet flavors. The distinctive feature is that it’s smoky and can be a bit overwhelming.

There’s also Tay Ninh beef at Cau Dua on 23/10 Street. Quite far. But delicious. If you want fresh beef, just hop on a motorbike and go explore.

For snacks, there’s Thap Ba Street with ice cream. Delicious flan cakes. If a place is crowded, just go in. Because there are many similar places.

FOR NOW, I’LL SHARE LIKE THIS SO I CAN REMEMBER WHAT ELSE TO ADD LATER.
