1.    Where is this place?

>The location of Sunset Sanato Beach Club Phu Quoc is in Bai Truong area, Duong Bao hamlet, Duong To commune, Phu Quoc. Sunset Sanato Beach Club Phu Quoc is an entertainment complex on a private beach. With a length of 400m including bars and dining areas. The entertainment area serves both domestic and international tourists visiting Phu Quoc. With many vibrant and grand activities. Facing west, Sunset Sanato Beach Club Phu Quoc becomes one of the most beautiful spots to watch the sunset in Phu Quoc. Here, visitors can spend hours leisurely among the treehouse, golden sandy beach, and immerse themselves in the sunset.

2.    How to get there? (directions)

From there, drive about 500m and you will see the sign for Sunset Sanato Resort & Villa, turn in, drive into the resort area, and you will find the beach bar area. >Ideal Time

>The climate of Phu Quoc Island is tropical monsoon climate with two distinct seasons, the rainy season and the dry season. The rainy season lasts from May to September. During this time, Phu Quoc receives a lot of rain, sometimes with sudden heavy showers, and at times, it can rain continuously for a week. If you are not restricted by time, it is best to avoid visiting Phu Quoc during this period. This coincides with the summer break for students, so there are not many options for most families.

>Of course, the likelihood of rain is much higher during the rainy season. The dry season lasts from October to April of the following year. During this time, Phu Quoc receives less rain, plenty of sunshine, calm and clear seas, making it extremely suitable for traveling, exploring, taking photos, and having fun. This is also the peak season for foreign tourists to visit Phu Quoc. Vietnamese tourists also visit, but not as much as during the summer months. Nevertheless, this is the best time to visit Phu Quoc throughout the year.

>Ideal time to visit Sunset Sanato Beach Club Phu Quoc. The evening is the ideal time to capture stunning sunset photos that will receive millions of likes when shared on social media. However, it can be challenging to capture a great sunset photo due to the high number of people around. Cuong advises you to be patient and if possible, you can use photoshop to remove the people around.

3.    How to Get There?

Huong-dan- tham-quan-ngam-hoang-hon-sunset-sanato-32

>Xe Máy is the most common and convenient means of transportation, with the highest number not only in Phu Quoc but also throughout Vietnam. A Honda or Yamaha scooter can take you anywhere, anytime at a very affordable price. You can bring your own scooter when traveling to Phu Quoc (by ferry from Ha Tien or Rach Gia) or rent one at hotels or motorbike rental shops. You can easily rent a scooter for yourself at a price ranging from 120,000 VND to 180,000 VND per day for manual scooters and 150,000 VND to 200,000 VND per day for automatic scooters, excluding fuel. When renting a scooter, you just need a copy of your ID card along with the original for verification, and a deposit. You can book a scooter 3-5 days in advance, and it will be delivered to Duong Dong town. However, Cuong must remind you that in Phu Quoc, motorcycle parking is not very common, so you need to choose a parking spot that is easy to observe and make sure to lock it securely.

>Huong-dan- tham-quan-ngam-hoang-hon-sunset-sanato-31

>Car Rental: If the tourist spots you choose are too far away, or you don’t want to be affected by the weather during the trip and most importantly, if you have a large group of people, then renting a car or a tourist car is a reasonable choice. Depending on the number of people traveling with you, you can rent suitable tourist cars. In most cases, renting a self-driving car is usually for small groups of tourists traveling to Phu Quoc with their families, so they usually rent 4-seater or 7-seater cars. If you are traveling to Phu Quoc for work or leisure, you can bring your car by ferry for a price starting from 900,000 VND / one way. Or if you don’t have a car or can’t bring it over, you can choose to rent a car.

>Nowadays, it’s not difficult to rent a tourist car from 4 to 45 seats in Phu Quoc. However, in Phu Quoc, renting a tourist car is not charged by the hour like in other places, but here the car owners will charge based on the direction you will visit such as South Island, North Island, and East Island. Specifically, renting a 7-seater car to East Island of Phu Quoc is 700,000 VND / 1 car, to South Island of Phu Quoc is 800,000 VND / 1 car, and to North Island is 900,000 VND / 1 car. In addition, larger groups can choose 16-seater, 29-seater, 35-seater, 45-seater cars, etc.

Besides, the rental price of tourist cars also depends on your starting location or it may be a special price provided by the hotel, resort where you stay, so to rent a satisfactory tourist car, you should check prices from many places to make the best choice for yourself. Another tip is to choose a stop at Duong Dong town. This is the central point of the island, very convenient for transportation, entertainment, and especially the car prices are always the cheapest no matter where you go. Moreover, you should also pay attention to the time because usually cars only run until 8 pm. If it’s past 8 pm, you may be charged for overtime.

>Huong-dan- tham-quan-ngam-hoang-hon-sunset-sanato-30E

>Taxi: During times of bad weather when you cannot travel by motorbike, do not know how to drive a car, and walking to tourist spots is not an option, taxis on the island will be a suitable means of transportation for you. Currently, on Phu Quoc Island, there is a fairly large fleet of taxis (about 2000 vehicles) with a variety of 4-seater and 7-seater types. In terms of price, it is equivalent to mainland prices, so there is nothing to worry about. However, the distance between tourist spots and beaches in Phu Quoc is quite far, so you should consider the cost when calling a taxi. Currently, Phu Quoc has over 5 different taxi companies with thousands of cars and there is no Grab service. To avoid being taken on a “detour” by taxis, it is best to ask the staff at your hotel or resort to call reputable taxi companies that often serve tourists to ensure reasonable costs. Some famous taxi companies in Phu Quoc include: Phu Quoc Taxi (Nam Thang company): (02973) 75 75 75, Sasco Phu Quoc Taxi: (02973) 76 76 76, VinaSun Taxi (02973) 789 789.

>Huong-dan- tham-quan-ngam-hoang-hon-sunset-sanato-29

>Bicycles: If you love moving around by bike, want to enjoy life gently without noise, moments of relaxation with your loved ones, family or friends exploring a beautiful spot on the pearl island of Phu Quoc, then a bicycle is a very suitable means of transportation for you. You can easily rent bicycles at the hotel, resort where you stay, if the hotel, resort does not provide this service, you can ask the staff there for directions to some bike rental shops. The average price for a bicycle is about 100,000 VND/day, tandem bicycles are 150,000 VND/day, mountain bikes are also 150,000 VND/day. If you rent by the hour, it is 20,000 VND/1 hour. In Cuong’s experience, you should only rent a bike to ride around the hotel, as there are many steep hills on Phu Quoc’s roads. The tourist attractions in Phu Quoc are quite far apart, so if you are not fit enough, you may have to give up halfway.

>This is also the most famous check-in point in this area. The artistic structure is placed right on the sandy beach of Bai Truong, facing the mainland, with a small gate in the middle for the sunset to pass through, opening up the view of the blue sea, golden sun, and poetic scenery. All these views will serve as a backdrop for you to strike poses with hundreds of creative photo styles. You don’t need to be a professional photographer, anyone just needs to stand in that corner, wait for the sunset to come down, raise the camera, and there you have a timeless photo.

>The wooden house on the tree

Huong-dan- tham-quan-ngam-hoang-hon-sunset-sanato-22

The wooden house area consists of 2 spherical wooden “rooms” with a design resembling a house on a hanging tree in the middle of the sky, with a wooden staircase leading up, overlooking like a bird’s nest. Sitting here, you can admire the beach within reach, enjoy the wild breeze, and capture some stunning surreal photos.

>The stairway to heaven

Huong-dan- tham-quan-ngam-hoang-hon-sunset-sanato-21

>Moreover, Sunset Sanato also features numerous unique and creative photo spots such as: fish, elephant, and jellyfish sculptures placed directly on the beach, all meticulously crafted. It can be said that every corner here serves as a perfect backdrop for you to take as many photos as you want. And perhaps these peculiar and creative architectural blocks have helped Sunset Sanato Beach Club become a super unique check-in spot that everyone visiting Phu Quoc must strike a pose at.

There is no overpricing like some other amusement parks. Beach bathing services, freshwater bathing, sun loungers, and umbrellas are all complimentary. There is also a restaurant serving fast food and à la carte dishes, so if you come here to swim and get hungry, finding something to eat is very convenient.
