What’s attractive about Da Nang
Although Da Nang is located in the central region under the scorching sun, it is blessed with abundant natural tourism resources such as long white sandy beaches like My Khe, Non Nuoc, Tien Sa,… the sacred Marble Mountains, the beautiful Bàn Cờ peak. Besides, with the youth and creativity, the people of Da Nang have created countless famous tourist spots such as Thần Tài Mountain, Asia Park, the famous Bà Nà Hills resort and amusement park,… Therefore, if you ask what’s attractive about Da Nang tourism, Cuồng would like to say that there are many interesting things waiting for you to explore in this young city.
Bà Nà Hills Cable Car
Address: Located in Hoa Ninh commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city. Bà Nà Hills is about 30km southwest of the city center of Da Nang
Bà Nà Hills Cable Car ticket prices: adults (over 1.4m) are 750,000 VND, children (1m – under 1.4m) are 600,000 VND. Additionally, when entering the wax museum area of Bà Nà Hills, you will need to purchase a ticket for 100,000 VND/person (over 1.3m), under 1.3m is free.
Beauty: many tourists describe Bà Nà Hills as a fairy scene above the clouds, and it’s not an exaggeration. Bà Nà Hills in Da Nang is a resort and entertainment complex located on a part of the majestic Truong Son mountain range. Therefore, when visiting Bà Nà Hills, tourists can experience all four seasons of a year in just one day. Also, due to the mild climate, the trees and flowers on Bà Nà Hills are incredibly beautiful. A wild plum blossom by the roadside is enough to dazzle any visitor.
The Bà Nà Hills Cable Car in Da Nang is divided into 3 routes: Suối Mơ – Bà Nà route, Debay – Morin route, Thác Tóc Tiên – L’Indochine route. The higher the cable car goes, the more magnificent natural landscapes tourists can admire. Lush green forests interspersed with small, clear streams. Occasionally, bright yellow and purple wildflowers stand out. Just like the saying “the road to heaven”.
Each area in Bà Nà Hills will offer visitors a different experience. The bustling French Village, the vibrant Flower Garden, the ancient Wine Cellar, the majestic Golden Bridge, the serene Spiritual Area.
Additionally, there are many restaurants serving food for tourists at Bà Nà Hills in Da Nang. However, Cuồng’s sincere advice is to choose the buffet option at the restaurant with prices starting from only 225,000 VND – 245,000 VND. Ordering à la carte at Bà Nà Hills restaurants is very expensive. A bowl of noodles with grilled pork costs nearly 150,000 VND, and with a drink, it can reach 200,000 VND. The dining prices at Bà Nà Hills in Da Nang are “exorbitant”.
Activities: sightseeing, photography, relaxation. Additionally, at Bà Nà Hills, there is the Fantasy amusement area with 105 extremely fun games. Besides, you can experience the climbing train, high-speed slide, etc.
Note: at Bà Nà Hills Cable Car, outside food is not allowed except for powdered milk for babies. You can also contact Bà Nà Hills Cable Car ticket agents to get discounted ticket prices.
Than Tai Hot Springs Park
Address: located at QL14G, Hoa Phu, Hoa Vang, Da Nang. 30km west of Da Nang city center, Than Tai Mountain is strategically located in the Ba Na Nui Chua Nature Reserve.
Entrance fee to Than Tai Hot Springs Park: there are various ticket packages available, but the standard ticket prices are 350,000 VND/adult (over 1.3m tall) and 200,000 VND/child (1m – under 1.3m tall).
Beauty: Than Tai Hot Springs Park is a complex that includes hotels, amusement parks, restaurants, hot springs, and the Than Tai temple. When visiting Than Tai Mountain in Da Nang, you can join a one-day Da Nang tour, or plan your own Da Nang trip as the route here is quite easy to find. Young people often design short trips to come here and have fun with friends.
At Than Tai Mountain, there is a very sacred Than Tai temple. Many tourists, whether on a full Da Nang tour package or traveling independently, take the time to come here to pray for success in their endeavors. Additionally, when visiting the hot springs park, you can experience “therapeutic bathing” services such as mud baths, hot mineral baths, fresh milk baths, coffee baths, etc. Children can explore the dinosaur park with lifelike sound effects or have fun at the water park with hundreds of exciting games.
Regarding dining at Than Tai Hot Springs Park in Da Nang, there are 2 areas. One is the buffet area with a price of 220,000 VND/person. And the other is the a la carte restaurant. However, based on Cuong’s experience, you should choose the buffet option as you can enjoy a variety of dishes at a reasonable price. The a la carte restaurant at Than Tai Mountain in Da Nang only offers a few basic rice dishes such as roasted chicken rice, roasted duck rice, beef stir-fry rice, or fried fish ball sausage. Each dish costs at least 120,000 VND without drinks.
Note: The road from Da Nang city center to Than Tai Mountain is very far, about 30 – 40km. Not to mention the hilly and dangerous terrain along the way. Therefore, Cuong advises that if you have the opportunity to travel to Da Nang and want to visit Than Tai Mountain, you should rent a car. For young people who want to ride a motorbike, be careful, do not drive too fast, especially wear sunscreen and bring water along the way. Avoid going to Than Tai Mountain on rainy days as there is a risk of landslides and encountering floods along the way.

How many days are enough to visit Da Nang?
According to Cuong’s Da Nang travel experience, the most suitable time to visit Da Nang is 3 – 4 days. If you don’t have much time, you can take a 3-day 2-night Da Nang tour to visit the highlights of the city. However, a 3-day 2-night Da Nang tour may be a bit rushed, but it’s okay because it’s also a reason for you to come back to Da Nang next time.
If you have more free time, you can choose a 4-day 3-night Da Nang tour to relax and enjoy the trip more. Many tourists who travel to Da Nang on their own or want to stay longer in Da Nang will choose a 5-day 4-night Da Nang tour. However, according to Cuong’s experience, it is not advisable to stay that long as it may feel boring. Everything is just right or slightly less will create a “craving” feeling, which is also one of the factors that make your Da Nang trips more interesting.
