Hello everyone, as requested by 500 brothers who are preparing to travel to Da Nang and want to experience the hot mineral spring service, today Cuong will make a video review of the hot mineral spring tourist area on the mountain of Thần Tài for everyone to refer to. Traveling to Da Nang is not just about My Khe beach, nor just about the legendary Ba Na Hills replacing the beautiful Son Tra peninsula. If you are looking for an all-in-one experience, meaning checking in, having fun, sightseeing, visiting temples, and getting mineral therapy, then the hot mineral spring tourist area on Thần Tài mountain is a great choice for you.
How to get to the Thần Tài hot mineral spring area in Da Nang
The Thần Tài hot mineral spring tourist area in Da Nang is about 30km from the city center, in the same direction as the Ba Na Hills cable car. To get here, there are many ways such as riding a motorbike, taking a Grab, taxi, or choosing a one-day Thần Tài mountain tour. It depends on your desire for experience and your budget.
If you go to the Thần Tài hot mineral spring area by a 7-seater Grab, the round trip will cost around 700 – 800K, if you are good at bargaining, you can reduce it by 50k – 100k. Taking a taxi will also cost around 800k. These two options are suitable for those traveling to Da Nang independently or with family groups.
For those of you who want to experience hot mineral bathing services on a trip to Da Nang without having to endure the sun and wind, with transportation provided and guided tours, you should choose a one-day tour to the Fairy Mountain.
For those who are adventurous or suffer from motion sickness and fear air-conditioned cars, just hop on a motorbike. A motorbike can accommodate 2 people, and the rental price is only 100k for 24 hours plus an additional 50k for gas, allowing you to freely explore the Fairy Mountain. It sounds reasonable and meets the standards of budget travel in Da Nang, right! Therefore, Cuong chose to travel to the Fairy Mountain hot mineral spring resort by motorbike.
Notes on the way to Fairy Mountain
It must be said that the roads in Da Nang are truly enjoyable. The smooth asphalt roads are not crowded, allowing you to leisurely drive while admiring the beautiful streets of Da Nang with many impressive structures like the Dragon Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge, or the Sunwheel roundabout in the Asian Park. However, while driving, you should also pay attention to the front and back, avoid speeding and reckless overtaking to prevent any unpleasant encounters!
The route to the Fairy Mountain hot mineral spring resort from the city center of Da Nang is quite simple, just follow National Highway 14G. However, be warned that the road is long, winding, and treacherous, with steep and dangerous mountainous sections. Therefore, both men and women should prepare sun protection gear. Wear a jacket, face mask, gloves, and full shoes. Also, remember to bring a small bottle of water as there are stretches of road with only forests and mountains where you won’t find any drinking water.
Along the way, you will see signs prohibiting littering and designated garbage collection areas. It must be acknowledged that the environmental management of Da Nang tourism is extremely good. This is also the reason why Da Nang is known as the most livable city in Vietnam. There are also warnings about landslides and flash floods. As most of the route is hilly and mountainous with forests and streams on one side, heavy rain can lead to flooding. Therefore, a lesson learned from visiting Fairy Mountain is not to travel by motorbike during the rainy season, especially on heavy rainy days!
After nearly an hour of sweating under the scorching sun of Da Nang, Cuong finally arrived at the Fairy Mountain hot mineral spring resort, dripping with sweat. This is also a travel experience in Da Nang that you need to remember. Because the Fairy Mountain hot mineral spring area is vast and offers many activities, if you want to experience all the interesting things here, you must arrive early. The Fairy Mountain hot mineral spring resort is open from 8 am to 6 pm, so plan accordingly.
How much is the entrance fee to Fairy Mountain?
Currently, Cuong is standing in front of the ticket counter at the Fairy Mountain hot mineral spring resort in Da Nang. Despite visiting on a weekday, there are quite a few tourists. Just looking at the entrance fee board at the Fairy Mountain hot mineral spring resort in Da Nang is overwhelming. There are many different services available, but you only need to pay attention to the following packages:
The price of the basic package for Thần Tài Mountain ticket without Onsen bath and mud bath is 350,000 VND/adult (height from 1.3m and above), 175,000 VND/child (height from 1 – 1.3m), children under 1m are free. In addition, there is also a type of ticket for Thần Tài Mountain after 3pm with a price of 250,000 VND/adult, 125,000 VND/child
The services included in the basic package for Thần Tài Mountain ticket are:

Thần Tài Mountain ticket package: Ticket + Mud Bath + Lunch: 580,000 VND
- Ticket for basic services
- Mud bath
- Lunch
In which, the ticket to Thần Tài hot spring is already 350,000 VND, mud bath 150,000 VND, lunch 220,000 VND. And the Thần Tài Mountain ticket package for 580,000 VND in my opinion is quite a good deal.
Price of Thần Tài Mountain ticket with Nạp Khí package: Ticket + Mud Bath: 398,000đ
- If you don’t have lunch, choose this ticket, it’s 180,000đ cheaper.
- You can have lunch on your own.
Price of Thần Tài Mountain ticket with Dưỡng tâm package: Ticket + Mud Bath + Onsen + Lunch: 608,000đ
- This package includes an Onsen bath in Thần Tài mountain stream for those who like Japanese-style fairy baths.
- It’s 100,000đ cheaper if bought separately.
Price for the Thần Tài Mountain Resort Package: Ticket + Mud Bath + Onsen: 425,000 VND for those who want to have lunch on their own.
I chose the basic ticket package here because honestly, we started a bit late today, and the purpose is to review the Thần Tài Mountain Resort for you to see, so we had to rush through all the areas as time was limited to enjoy the mud baths and milk baths. Well, I’ll have to come back next time to enjoy all the services here!

After you purchase your ticket, the ticket office staff will give you a wristband with an electronic chip attached. Depending on the package of services you buy, the wristband will have different colors. It may look small, but it’s quite powerful. With this wristband, you will:
- Use this wristband to check in at the entrance
- Use this wristband to unlock the luggage storage compartments, clothes (there is a free storage area)
- Use this wristband for buffet meals (if included in the ticket price)
- Load money onto this wristband for spending, no need to carry cash (any remaining amount will be returned to you when you return the wristband)
So, the procedure is complete, let’s start exploring and experiencing the hot mineral springs of Mount Thần Tài Đà Nẵng! As soon as you enter the gate, the staff will ask if you want to store your belongings because there is a free luggage storage area here. The storage lockers here are opened with the electronic chip on your wristband, so you don’t have to worry about anyone stealing your belongings. Just kidding, but in a tourist area like this, people pay for tickets to experience and enjoy, so who would trust leaving their belongings in a public locker. And even if they did, they would know that public lockers only hold random items, not valuables, right! The staff here are really thoughtful. Since the Mount Thần Tài tourist area is vast and mostly hilly, with 80% of the services being baths, as soon as you enter the gate, you store your belongings, load money onto your wristband, and only carry important documents to have a free hand to explore and enjoy, right!
How to visit Mount Thần Tài?
According to Cuồng’s experience of visiting Mount Thần Tài, as soon as you enter the gate, you should immediately look for the map to orient yourself and see what’s here and how to best explore it. It saves time, saves energy, and allows you to have more fun! After studying and consulting with the staff for a while, Cuồng has come up with some advice on how to visit Mount Thần Tài:
- Visit the Thần Tài temple first: Cuồng believes that everything has its own rules, with respect and reverence. When you visit Mount Thần Tài, you should go to the temple to pray for smooth sailing in your work and a fulfilling life. Whether the deities protect you or not, as long as you have a pure heart and faith, everything will go smoothly, right! Even if you don’t want to ask for blessings, you should still visit the Thần Tài temple because the scenery there is beautiful. Standing high, you can see far and wide, surrounded by lush greenery, hills and mountains overlooking the vast area of the Thần Tài hot mineral springs.
- After that, take advantage of the morning energy to visit the dinosaur park and then experience the hot springs
- At noon, have lunch, watch 9D, 12D movies to avoid the sun and take a nap
- And the cool afternoon will be spent entirely at the water park
A visit to Mount Thần Tài with this itinerary is quite reasonable, isn’t it! What are you waiting for, let’s go.
Visit the Thần Tài temple
We start our first sightseeing spot at the tourist area of the Mountain God in Da Nang, which is the temple of the Mountain God. Initially, upon hearing the directions from the staff to wait for the electric car, I thought the road must be far so we needed the car. But oh my goodness! It’s all uphill. If you walk, you might need a miracle to make it up to the temple. But taking a break is also fine. When you reach the Mountain God, you have to climb the mountain. Luckily, there’s an electric car! The car will take you up to the temple, and after you finish visiting the temple, it will take you back to the starting point near the entrance gate.
Wow, I was truly overwhelmed by the solemn and majestic space of this temple of the Mountain God. It’s true that if you travel to Da Nang and don’t visit the Mountain God, it’s a waste. The temple of the Mountain God stands tall against the mountain wall, facing the mineral spring area, embracing the vast space of the Mountain God. The air here is so fresh! Outside the temple, tourists are taking pictures to capture memories, but inside the temple, there is a serious atmosphere. The statue of the Mountain God is placed solemnly in the hall. If you notice, inside the temple of the Mountain God, there are many yellow statues of the Mountain God placed in niches like this. It looks very beautiful and grand, doesn’t it? On the statues, there are names, probably of the travelers who have come to visit the Mountain God and made offerings to wish for prosperity in life. Inside the hall, there is also a donation box for visitors to contribute to support the temple.
Visit the dinosaur park
After visiting the temple of the God of Wealth, now we will move on to the second stop of the tour, the Dinosaur Park. The path to the Dinosaur Park does not have electric cars, so you have to walk. However, Cuong’s experience in visiting the God of Wealth Mountain is that you can skip a section to the hotel area and then continue walking. If you are not familiar with the area, you can ask the staff here or look at the signs along the way. Walking and climbing uphill at the same time is quite exciting. Luckily, there are many trees along the way providing shade, so you can walk leisurely, take photos, rest when tired, and then continue on.
Finally, we arrived at the destination. Tired as we were, just as we were about to leave, we heard the roar of a dinosaur and saw another one breaking out of its egg, enough to startle anyone. The Nui Than Tai tourist area really invested in this. The large dinosaur garden, with realistic models and a sound system that made the dinosaurs roar, truly felt like stepping back in time. So, if you’re traveling to Da Nang with kids, you should bring them here. I guarantee the kids will be mesmerized and won’t want to leave!
Try the longevity egg at Nui Than Tai Mountain
After exploring the dinosaur park, we felt a bit hungry and decided to try the legendary longevity egg. In reality, it’s just a chicken egg boiled in hot mineral water at around 80 degrees until the yolk is semi-cooked. The longevity egg at Nui Than Tai tourist area costs 10k VND per egg. At first, it may seem a bit expensive as regular eggs cost only 2-3k VND each. But think about it, when you buy an egg outside, you only get the egg, but here at the tourist area, you also get an experience, right? Plus, all the prices at Nui Than Tai tourist area are clearly displayed. This is truly a great advantage for this place in particular and for tourism in Da Nang in general. Those who have visited Da Nang before will know that all the tourist attractions in Da Nang have clearly displayed prices. So, there’s no need to worry about being overcharged or scammed.
Returning to the topic of the longevity egg dish at the Thanh Tai Mountain God tourist area. There is a special thing about this longevity egg dish, the yolk is cooked before the white. So, for those who are not used to it, it’s recommended to try 1 or 2 eggs first instead of greedily ordering 5 eggs and then not being able to finish them, which would be a waste. It is said that eating a boiled egg cooked with hot mineral water can increase your lifespan by 7 years, so I decided to extend my youth a bit to have more time to review and share travel experiences with you all. But it’s true that being greedy can lead to consequences.
Now feeling a bit more refreshed, I decided to soak myself in the hot mineral spring to relieve all the tiredness I’ve had since this morning. Oh, and I must remind you again that when visiting the Thanh Tai Mountain God tourist area in Da Nang, most activities involve water, so remember to bring a waterproof bag to hold your phone and important documents. You can buy it here, but you know how prices are inside tourist areas compared to outside.
Soaking in the hot mineral spring at Thanh Tai Mountain God
The hot mineral spring area of the mountain god has two sides. The upper part is the foot soaking area, and the lower part is the body soaking area. Don’t misunderstand! Each area has its own water source, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene. If you buy longevity eggs but don’t eat them on the spot, you can bring them down to the hot mineral spring area to enjoy while soaking, but remember not to litter and maintain general cleanliness!
I have a tip for bathing in the hot mineral springs of Thần Tài Mountain in Đà Nẵng for you: if you bathe in the hot mineral springs of Thần Tài, remember to go up to the source because the water there is the hottest, flowing down to the wide river below where the water is all cold, making the bathing experience less enjoyable. After soaking in the hot mineral springs, you can go for a dry sauna, which is incredibly refreshing. At first, it might feel a bit hot, but it will soon pass. Saunas are good for your health and are a fun experience you should try when visiting Đà Nẵng and the Thần Tài Mountain hot mineral springs area. Now, take a break and treat yourself a little!
Eating experience at the Thần Tài Mountain hot mineral springs area
Now it’s lunchtime, and your stomach is starting to grumble, so it’s time to eat. There are three dining options within the Thần Tài Mountain tourist area:
– Self-catering: a special thing is that the Thần Tài Mountain tourist area allows you to bring your own food. Many families on a budget tour to Đà Nẵng choose to bring their own food and drinks. After having fun, everyone can set up a picnic and enjoy a meal together. It’s like a fun and cheap outdoor party, right? The only downside is having to carry all the food and drinks around, which can be a bit inconvenient.
– Alternatively, you can opt for a set meal at the Red Dragon restaurant in the Thần Tài Mountain tourist area. However, Cuồng finds it not very cost-effective to eat here. Perhaps it’s because the menu is limited and the prices are a bit high. They call it a set meal to make it sound fancy, but in reality, they only serve fried rice. Options include fried rice with roasted duck, fried rice with roasted pork, fried rice with roasted chicken, fried rice with beef stir-fry, and some fried sausage snacks. The cheapest set meal costs 120,000 VND, and it comes with a bowl of soup and some vegetables. Drinks are not included. So, in Cuồng’s opinion, having a buffet meal at the Thần Tài Mountain tourist area is cheaper and more convenient, right?
– The buffet price at the Thần Tài Mountain tourist area is 220,000 VND. The buffet is served from 11 am to 2:30 pm. Although the buffet doesn’t offer as many dishes as the one at Bà Nà Hills, Cuồng finds the food at Thần Tài Mountain delicious. Perhaps part of it is due to being hungry after a morning of activities. The buffet includes fried rice, stir-fried noodles, roasted duck, roasted pork, soup, and more. Cuồng notices that most tourists visiting Thần Tài Mountain opt for the buffet. When you purchase a buffet ticket at the counter, the staff will record it in the system, and when you enter, you just need to swipe your wristband on the machine to activate it. Very convenient, right? However, please note that although most of your day at Thần Tài Mountain will be spent bathing and relaxing, you should dress appropriately when dining. Men can be understanding, but if women keep running around in bikinis to get food, it might make others uncomfortable. Cuồng suggests changing into proper attire or at least wearing a cover-up or bringing a loose dress for a more polite dining experience.
Other experiences at Thần Tài Mountain
After a satisfying meal, you can take a break or experience the 9D and 12D movies at the Thần Tài Mountain hot mineral springs area! Cuồng has seen these types of attractions everywhere, so there’s no review to share, and it’s best to experience them firsthand for the full enjoyment.
Regarding the mud bath experience at the Thần Tài Mountain tourist area, if you didn’t purchase it as part of your ticket, you can buy it separately for 150,000 VND per person. However, Cuồng prefers the natural hot mineral springs at Thần Tài Mountain, and since mud baths are available in many places, Cuồng didn’t try it. Initially, Cuồng planned to review the Osen bath for reference, but due to time constraints and restrictions on filming and photography, it wasn’t possible.
Now let’s explore the water park at the Thần Tài Mountain tourist area!
As Cuồng sees it, the water park at the Thần Tài Mountain tourist area is similar to other water parks. It’s not very large and has sections for adults and children, including:
- Wave pool: quite spacious with a sandy beach surrounded by coconut trees, resembling an artificial beach. Suitable for families with young children
- Bird’s nest area: includes a water play system for children, with low slides suitable for children aged 2-3 years
- Precious gemstone dragon: 235m long following the natural mountain terrain
- Rainbow slide: 6 lanes, 92m long, with a 15m height difference, suitable for those who enjoy thrilling experiences
